e-chalupy.cz is a Czech catalogue of cottages, chalets and apartments, with an owner area at klient.e-chalupy.cz for managing inquiries, reservations and availability. Unlike Airbnb or Booking.com, e-chalupy.cz has no scheduled / automated guest-messaging system — inquiries and bookings land in your owner inbox and you reply to guests yourself. Best Guest still connects in two ways:

  • A registration message you send yourself — paste your Best Guest link into the reply you already send guests when confirming a reservation.
  • iCal sync — Best Guest imports every reservation e-chalupy.cz manages, via its occupancy export.

Before you start

  • An active e-chalupy.cz owner account at klient.e-chalupy.cz
  • A Best Guest account
  • Your Best Guest registration link, e.g.

(Use your real link. ?channel=echalupy records the reservation origin.)

Using the right link: every listing — each apartment, room, tent, RV, or whatever counts as your smallest bookable unit — has its own unique registration link. If you manage more than one listing, double-check you’re copying the correct one. Find all your links in Best Guest under Properties → [property] → Listings → Copy listing link, or grab them during the Listings step of onboarding.

Path 1 — Send the registration link yourself

Because e-chalupy.cz doesn’t support scheduled messages, send this as part of your normal reply to every inquiry or confirmed reservation:

Hello! Thank you for your reservation.

Before your arrival, please complete your online guest registration:
https://app.bestguestapp.com/l/your-listing

It takes under 2 minutes and helps us prepare for your stay.

A reminder a day or two before arrival (or right after check-in, for guests who haven’t finished) catches anyone who missed the first message.

Path 2 — iCal sync

In your e-chalupy.cz owner area, go to Obsazenost → Export kalendáře (Occupancy → Export calendar) and copy the .ics link for the property. Paste that link into Best Guest to import e-chalupy.cz reservations into Reservation Verification.

If you also want e-chalupy.cz to reflect bookings from other channels, use Obsazenost → Import kalendáře (Occupancy → Import calendar) on the e-chalupy.cz side with the iCal links from your other portals — that keeps availability in sync everywhere, though it’s separate from the Best Guest connection.

  • Reservation confirmed → send your reply with the registration link
  • 1–2 days before arrival → reminder, if the guest hasn’t registered yet
  • Checkout → thank-you message

Troubleshooting

Reservation missing in Best Guest — check the iCal link is still valid in your e-chalupy.cz owner area, and that the .ics export hasn’t been regenerated (which changes the URL).

Guest never got the link — since delivery is manual here, double-check the message actually went out with the reply, not just saved as a draft.
