Why we built Best Guest
Every accommodation provider in the Czech Republic has to report foreign guests to the police (UbyPort), keep a House Book and Registration Book, and calculate the local accommodation tax — regardless of whether they run one apartment or a hundred. Doing this by hand from check-in messages and spreadsheets is slow and error-prone, and the penalties for getting it wrong can reach 50,000 CZK per violation.
We built Best Guest to remove that manual work entirely: guests fill in their own registration online, the platform validates the data, and the compliance reporting happens automatically in the background.

Best Guest is a product of Hotel Analytics s.r.o., registered in Prague, Czech Republic. Hotel Analytics also builds analytics and revenue-management tools for the hospitality industry, which is where the idea for Best Guest started — as an internal tool to remove compliance busywork for the properties we already worked with.
