UbyPort is the Czech Foreign Police's official system for reporting foreign guests. Accommodation providers must report each foreign guest, typically within 3 working days of arrival.
Does Best Guest submit reports automatically?
Yes — once a guest completes the online check-in form, Best Guest validates the data and submits the UbyPort report automatically, with no manual re-entry.
What happens if I report late or not at all?
Failing to report foreign guests can result in fines of up to 50,000 CZK per violation from the police or trade licensing office. Automated reporting removes the risk of missed deadlines.
Does Best Guest report Czech citizens too?
No — UbyPort reporting is a legal requirement only for foreign guests. Best Guest still records Czech guests in the House Book and Registration Book as required.
